alright, well, i have a group of 1200+ hamsters. yes, there are doubles. thats considered a hoard, is that because there are doubles of it? so collections are more like, collecting each and every one of a certain pet? am i right?

@the conversation on the last page I know that some store pets were re released on the 18th in December, and I don't think it was an accident but it was decided after that that it wouldn't happen again iirc.

Congrats on the progress on your guys' collections! Thornes, Crestalia, Jinkx, ElementalInsanity, you guys are getting along so well and it's a pleasure to watch (even though I've been away from this thread for a little while (o/ it's nice to see you guys again!!)
I just yesterday managed to pay off and receive my Dogtag, the next piece in my collection working down the mainlist!:

I'm so excited to have her and it feels like a very big achievement, the last few (the zebras and bwolf) were low demand and a little easier to get. Now I'm moving on to the UR cat, another higher demand one!

In terms of other collection bits I've managed to pick up quite a few 2009 and 10 UCs and rares that I still need, and knocked off another 2 or 3 of the remaining 15 or so 2011 pets I needed ^^

I'm having so many people come back at me with the fact that trading pets or list pets for C$ is hard, which is really frustrating when trying to have a complete collection! People hear from one person it's hard, so they believe it and pass it on. I've gotten 3o+ lists in the past month with either just C$, or C$ and some recent rares. (Because that's all I can offer to get any lists. ^^")
Does anyone else have this problem?

I personally don't value C$! but only because I don't use it, but other people value it low because they think it isn't worth much.

I don't think Ive ever been much happier in CS time.
From someone who was leaving I just got the Chestnut Arabian Store pet to add to my Arabian collection! I managed to get all the event ones but now I have one of my biggest Dreamies as well! Just need the Bay and the White now!


I also got to welcome the Shima Longtail from the same person and I feel like my whole collection has increased in value!

Side note- added another regular staff pet to my staff pet collection as well ^_^

I personally think it's very sad that C$ has become so immensely undervalued, but I saw it comming when they made it tradeable. People just don't realize that it costs real money anymore. =/
Just think about it: 19 C$ = $1 (!)
Would you "waste" your money on stuff that's not really valueable (like uncommons and below)?

It's not becoming less valueable, it has become undervalued. Before C$ where tradeable, it was way easier getting trades that could be considered fair for it. Now people expect to get payed C$ for commons - and I'm not talking about 5-10 commons for 1 C$ but 1 common for 1 C$, which is (imo) ridiculous. Or more than 5 C$ for an uncommon.

Apart from that, store pets are a whole different story from the moment their sales are closed.
But you can also see that C$ are hugely undervalued if you try trading a set of currently available store pets for an advent list pet (at least it was when I last tried).

I'm only 16 pages away from completing my CS collection!
I am thinking of making it so I won't go after Main and September lists because of demand and such. I may change my mind later, but I am definitely going to keep trading my Main and September lists down until I get all basic rares and very rares down. I know this could hurt me in the long run because the longer I wait the rarer those list pets are gonna become. However, I'm just really looking to get the missing rare 2009/2010 pets down. Also, people get so attached which makes it hard to get a fair trade.
I already completed 2012 and on (except for the May Lioness, July PPS Lion, and URs)! I need 10 from 2011 (All Very rares). From 2010 is 74 (Which I want to complete by the end of this year). I have really big goals that I hope to complete. c:
I remember when my wishlist was twenty-seven because that's what it was at when I took a break from CS. Such good memories on this site, but I'm so happy to see my growth as a trader. I used to be a really bad trader. Now, I understand rarities and the Rares list. c:

Edit: I got 22 rares off my wishlist with only 140C$. I swear that older players are really nice <3
