Is this fair, seeing as one pet is from an event and one isn't? Does demand make a difference here? Thanks in advance!

It's really hard to say without knowing rarities. Generally, event pets (especially ones requiring tokens) have a bit more demand.

The bee goes for above the gap, but it's up to you guys to decide exactly where

I would say it's unfair to you. Even if their pet ends up being rare, your pet is also rare and 4 months older, plus there are a lot of other pets added on.

you can get more for your apple. The august PPS only goes for MAXIMUM a low september
