The rarity of a pet is not influenced by its demand, only by absolute numbers. It's calculated by comparing how many pets of a certain outcome exist on all active accounts, compared to the number of active accounts.
So the Zodiac dogs are not very rare because there's still plenty of them in circulation, keeping them rare.

Similarly, they're not on the Rares List because they are not rare enough to be considered.
The rares list factors in demand, yes, but there are dozens of very rare pets that still haven't made it on there, so any rare pet, no matter the demand, is still far away from it.
Not all high-demand pets end up on the rares list, and that's reasonable because a pet doesn't have to be super rare to be popular.^^

How many topics have you locked?

I wish I had a counter for this. It's probably a whole lot. But we do get many reports from people who want their own topic locked so not all locks are because of rule breaking content.

What's your favorite book/book series?

Right now, my favorite book is Paper Towns. I finished it a while ago but have yet to read something that compares! x3 As for an entire series, it will likely always be the Warriors series. I've been reading it forever and I absolutely adore it. I'll likely be reading it into my 30's!

If you could go back into your past and change one thing, it doesn't necessarily need to be a mistake, what would it be?

I'd probably change where I went to grade school or even high school. I got bullied a lot in grade school because I was short, skinny, pale, and had really bad front teeth. High school was fine, but I went to an all-girls Catholic high school, and I feel like I missed out on a lot of opportunities that come with being a teenager; although, on the contrary, I did pretty well in high school, and it was probably because I had nothing to do other than study every day...

I'd probably change my grade school situation to see if anything would change, but I honestly feel that my past experiences have shaped my character very well, and I'm happy the way I am! Being bullied at a younger age prevented me from ever doing it to others and I think it made me more respectful to others, so if that never happened, I can't help but wonder if I would be a completely different person today.

Rosalind (former GH) and I were friends and used to roleplay together way back in 2010, and our other friend Turquoise had her own adoptables website that we both helped out with whenever we could. :3 That's about it! I admit that I am closer to a lot of former staff members or people who no longer use CS as opposed to current staff, but that's likely just because I'm an oldie. I became close to all of the other GHs once we already had the position, but although I haven't known some of them for years and years, they're some of my closest friends and I love them! <3

to any staff: do you watch greys anatomy or ever heard of it?

My mom's been watching it since season 1 (she's an RN and was always into all of the hospital shows) so naturally I ended up watching it every so often. I haven't watched it in order or anything and I've just caught a few episodes here and there, but I'd like to watch it from season 1 if I ever get the chance to. I saw the very controversial season ending last year and even without being attached to any of the characters, I cried.

Why is the name Chicken Smoothie?

I think CS started around April 2008, but it was called Silent Wolf Kennelz (SWK) for the first month or two because it was a different website back then (a fan site for the Ubi Soft/P.F. Magic 'Petz' game series). I was hosting it on the chickensmoothie.com domain name even when it was called SWK because 'chickensmoothie' used to be my username, and after a while I just named the site after the domain so I could get rid of the SWK title (it embarrassed me) this is why the site's name has nothing to do with the content

For the first couple of months there was no unique pet codes assigned to pets you adopted, so it was impossible to prove ownership of any pet. We added unique adoption codes in July, and some of those pets were later added to accounts when we introduced the account system sometime later (I don't remember when that was, I guess maybe August or September)

SWK itself probably started in around 2003/2004 I think... but it was a very small website with only a few regular visitors and has nothing to do with the current site (apart from the brief period that the two websites were connected). SWK went extinct when I decided to specialize only in adoptables, probably about 6 or 7 months after CS started. CS was like a parasite on SWK, slowly growing until it took over completely :lol:
