trying to get those two dogs...and my partner rated it 2/10. I asked why & she said it was because "they turn out to be VR NOT Unknown" **facepalm**

then I PMed her, saying fairness isn't all about rarity. she replied (quite rudely) saying "I don't have to ya know and you couldn't just cancel the trade saying no thanks and leaving it alone jeez". I don't get it.

and she foed me.

Nothing against this person. I'm just baffled.
So I get this trade for a date swap, with the message:

Yo please edit. I would like to date swap with you, but how will you make it up to me?

Now, I'm happy to add a little extra to a date swap so the person gets a bit of a deal. Even if the value of the pets are the exact same.
So I edit to this:
The Dog is on their WL by the way
And they send back:
this.

Well what would you want for this?

So I sent it back and told them I only wanted a date swap, as that was the group it was in.
And they cancel with this message:

Well, what you offered for the date swap was far too small for me to accept. You offered me a recent months pet for 3 years of difference, which I am not willing to do. Have a good day!

Did...what?
The cats are worth the exact same...I'm the one overpaying.
Did you want me to pay a September list for a stupid date swap of an '09 rare?

One time someone cancelled my trade with the message "Such a joke, no chance"

Like dang a simple "No" would have sufficed

I chuckled a good bit, and then cancelled with a simple "lol."
I then received a message (I hate it when people do this) telling me that I should have been nicer, and it's "people like me" who ruin their trade experience (certainly they are at no fault, right?)
Just a mini-rant, slightly OT: no one is of any obligation to anyone to be nice, accommodating, or to "let someone down easy." Ever. It doesn't make them a bad person, either. It's not my - or anyone's - job to coddle strangers, especially those on the internet.

Now I'm blocked, so I can't even reply. Bummer.

Someone sent me a suggestion with the message "wanna make a trade?" so I edited it and sent it back. I noticed that the person was still online and thought maybe they were ignoring my trade.
But it turns out the pet they offered me is in an auction and they added my trade to the bid list!
Seriously? Who does this?
