I think for me a lot of how I view my pet's genders is the name I give them, assuming I give them a name. If I call a dog 'Oil Pastelette' she's a girl, because that's a girl[ish] name, but if I call an identical dog 'Davy' I see that dog as a boy. It's strange.

Mine is male as well. Call me traditional but the smug look, complete with scar and wings? And the color green? ^^ My mind jumps quickly to "guy!".

S'not so much as "girls can't be vicious" so much as the media portrays guys as more tough and so [unless I think really hard about it and force myself to be PC or simply want to go against the flow for a story or something] I think "guy", like it or not. ^^ Traditional ways of looking at things aren't bad.
