I've always seen that pet as a male. The colors and designs remind me more of a male than a female. :3

I think for me a lot of how I view my pet's genders is the name I give them, assuming I give them a name. If I call a dog 'Oil Pastelette' she's a girl, because that's a girl[ish] name, but if I call an identical dog 'Davy' I see that dog as a boy. It's strange.
