I feel alright if somebody hoards for quantity auctions as long as they don't lie. If they say "I need them for an auction", it is perfectly okay with me. That way I know they don't exactly want this hoard pet, but another one. This also isn't a hoard for me, they just want a good bid and instead of many different pets they only want one pet as a bid.
lrjj is someone who always mentioned that they collected for somebody else and also always mentioned for what exactly. I don't help out as I would with other hoards (gift-finishing other hoards or just gifting my extras), but I really appreciate it.
Now, I've also seen some who said here that they hoard a pet, they love it - and the next day they were trading it away, because it was good trade fodder.

Everybody can do what they want with their pets... but this makes me a bit... dunno.I just don't like that attitude.
Yes, many of my hoards are good trade fodder, but I myself choose my hoard pets out of "love". They mean something to me. I just can't get the fact, that I'd trade away loved pets because it is convenient.
But - everybodys own choice after all.

Yes I've seen people who sent a trade for a pet and said something like 'please? It's the last one I need for my hoard.', I check their pet collection out of curiosity and they didn't have any hoard.. XD And for the 'they love their hoard pet - trade off the next day' I think I kind of understand that if the hoard is too hard, because I've done that before.
But it was only because I've gotten bored with the designs and ran out of trade fodder, if I really love those pets, like this hoard, I'd never trade it off. Edit:
