After some twisting and turning, i've decided to put my lemur hoard on a pause. I won't go actively looking for them anymore but will leave them on my wishlist and take them when offered. So not really stopping it yet, just stopping the expanding xD

This hoard is up to 64 now :3 I just love them too much, I'm bad at resisting new hoards but I have the fodder for them anyways -shrug- Right now I'm focusing on getting more of the purple because she's just lovely, but the orange male is my favorite so far.

Question for members who have been hoarding for years: Have you noticed a change in your preference in pets/the pets you choose to hoard?

I've found that I used to hoard mostly macabre-ish pets (mutant malk and three eyed halloween dog for example), but now I've started to hoard more colorful and happy pets c: This months lions and the rainbow unicorn bat are good examples. It's not that I don't like macabre stuff anymore because I definitely do, I just have grown a liking for colorful stuff too!

Not really. I've always hoarded pets that I like, usually just an outcome that I randomly just have to hoard. What has changed is the sheer number of new hoards I start. I've basically completed my Wishlist, so to have something to do, I hoard. I've gone from 1 every couple of months to 2-3 (or more) every month.
