No rules, but clearly labeled groups. I can understand how if the groups were not labeled, it would be confusing, but I believe that they are clearly labeled, so people can see and respect it.
Anyway, let's change to topic.
How are people going with their hoards

I think what Raire is trying to say...is it doesn't matter how you label your groups. When you look to trade with someone, you look whether they have any of your wishlist pets first, yes? This means that pets are pulled out from all over the place. So there still isn't any clear indication where these pets are in terms of group placement. Traders have to determine whether the trader wants to trade these pets based on pet name and the group name where the pets have been 'pulled' from.

Everyone has the right to their opinion, including you. No one is starting any arguments here so no need to get defensive.

Adding my two cents: When I am looking to trade with somebody, I immediately flip to "pets on your wishlist". If my potential trade partner has one or even several of my wishlist pets as hoards pets and hasn't locked their hoard groups, I have to scroll through several pages or even dozens of pages until I see which pets aren't hoard pets but trade pets from a trade group. Labelling groups doesn't help at all. I am actually really frustrated when users don't lock their hoards. Don't throw any rotten tomatoes at me, it's just the way I feel

I dressed up Dornröschen (= Sleeping Beauty), and now I have another dog hoard (in addition to my ivy and roses item hoards):

I feel like a failure of a hoarder, but I've just been too busy, and have technical problems, and sick. Actually, I just haven't been looking much so nothing new with me. Though I do think I'll have to give up on hoarding the Valentine balloon 3rd gen. I can find very few people willing to trade them and those that are ask to much.

You shouldn't feel like a failure of a hoarder. Hoarding is personal....there is no rule that you have to have a certain amount by a certain time. There are times when I go weeks without getting a single hoard pet...it doesn't mean I don't care, or that I've given up o them. It just means that I needed a little break. I have hoards (with goals) that I've been working on for over a year! Sure, they may have large goals, but you'd think I'd be further along by now. Sometimes you just need to take a break and find something else to do, like search for a dream pet or something. And it's certainly not your fault if it's do to business/technical problems/being sick.

I couldn't of said it better myself teddyrosa. Hoarding is certainly a personal hobby and that is the beauty of it - how many pets, what type of pets, the goal...everything is up to you. Also, no one can sit on CS all day trading! Please don't feel bad :3

Adding my two cents as well. Not to be critical and attacking but just to be helpful because we were all new at one time and we've all done things that weren't in our own best interest.
It's just much easier and friendlier to trade with someone who has their NFT pets/hoards locked. Quite often people are on mobile devices or slow internet connections and loading thousands and thousands of pets takes so long they'll just hit the back button and go away. I personally know it's very frustrating and distracting for me to have to wade through a bunch of NFT pets to get to what I can and want to trade for. Blame it on my ADD but things that distract me tick me off bad. I struggle so hard to stay focused.

On another note, I ended up coming up with a total of like 7 Silkies now out of the close to 100 hatchlings I've collected so far.

I really love those little guys. I'm so psyched for the whole litter to grow. Though I didn't get a real White Silkie to go with each of the pixel ones I have like I'd mentioned thinking about a few pages back. Went back to TSC and they had brand new Bantams in. Ended up with a Buff, Blue, and Partridge Silkie and then a little what I think's a Mille Fleur D'Uccles, Brahma and Sumatra instead.

So they can all grow up together now! ^_^

PeaceOwl, eh, why changing the topic? It is part of hoarding when we talk about locking our NFT hoards. I myself see no problem in continuing. Of course, I don't want to nag or pester you, but this is a discussion thread after all. Sharing opinions and so on. ^^
I totally don't mean it as a bad thing or am trying to convince you that you should now lock all of your groups. I couldn't do that anyway.

You don't know how many of my very common hoards took to complete them, now do you? I only collect 20 each and even then it sometimes takes me WEEKS.
I don't feel like trading or am too busy to be online that much. But in the end that doesn't stop me from hoarding.
Look at your pets.
Remember why you wanted them and don't let any negative thoughts destroy that ^-^
