It is unfair to you. You were overpaying. The warrior isn't a list pet, thus, it is worth a 2010 rare just like it is.

The rares list already takes into account demand.
It is unfair to you, since it would be a huge overpay for the BA.

The demand of the BA has gone down a lot this year, so they only go for around a nonballoon
