I wouldn't be so upset if they weren't a player who had been on since 2011 with a page FULL of rare animals and they offer me this! Have I gone mad or are they attempting to scam me?

Chill. It's unfair to you, but that doesn't mean they were trying to scam you. Join date has nothing to do with rarity knowledge....

This shouldn't have, but this post made me laugh so hard. I get those offers on my very rare pets and my rare pets. And I don't even have good rare pets!
