I don't know it's worth,(it's on the rare list) but I can answer your question:
People think they're worth less because it's assumed it is by the site members, though a pet from 2008 adopted 2 years later is still a 2008 pet, really, and that wouldn't make it any lower if it were from 2010 as a re-release.
