Simple Fix

Just a simple fix.
Just go to town.
Just get the cure.
Only it wasn’t ‘just’ at all.
He never came back.
Oh, lucky me.
I got better without the medicine.
“An eye for an eye.”
And it seems to me,
My price for living
was never to see him again.
Sure, I had hope
At first, I thought
He was just playing a joke.
But not even he would joke
About such an important matter.
Somehow, I got better and I waited
Until I could wait no longer.
Matters had to be pulled into my own hands.
I found his old traveling supplies,
And left on a quest of my own.
This wasn’t as simple of a fix.
I traveled across the lands,
Looking for anyone who had seen him.
Years and years I searched, and never lost hope
His face, the look of determination I remember
When he promised to find me a cure
Kept me going,
Kept me strong.
But not even hope can last forever.
It had been a long search.
Too long.
I found nothing,
No one had seen him.
All my attempts to find a lead;
Fruitless.
I started to doubt.
I started to wonder;
“Is there point to an endless search anymore?”
“No.
There isn’t,” was my next.
It was clear to me
I would never see him again.
And I mourned, for all our lost days,
And I started to travel back down
A long a winding road;
To loneliness, to disbelief;
So I made sure that last journey home was the longest I’d had.
And now, here I sit.
Still alone.
A widow.
Imagining days that will never come.

Yet another awesome pet story. Love it!! <3

She wants to love him, she wants to be his, but she can't. She is just a thief and he is a rich prince. He could never love her. He could never be hers, because she is just a thief, and he is a rich prince

After contemplating with herself, she finally decided.
The thief dressed her finest, and went to the kingdom to plead her love for the prince.

The prince just laughed at her. Yes, he laughed at her.
She left the kingdom weeping. She let her imagination get the better of her. She knew he could never love her, she knew they could never be together, because she is a thief, and he is a rich prince. She was just living in a fairy tale...

Black Magic


The lady pushed her way through the crowded market stalls. Glancing at the signs on each one, she finally spotted the one she was looking for. “Future Readings Here,” the sign read in bold blue letters. It was a stall on the edge of the market, and many had told of the readings there; some, they said, could not be faulted. Others, they said, couldn’t be more wrong.
“It’s worth a shot,” the lady mumbled to herself, making her way to the stall.
She made sure her mask was set on straight; after all, if all this backfired, she needed to remain anonymous. A voice called out from the tent-like structure.
“Hello, ma’am!” It was a gruff voice, and clearly had to try hard to sound friendly. “Are you here for a reading?”
“That I am,” She confirmed, and stepped forth, into the tent. She then looked up to see a man in shadow under a fairytale like wizard’s hat. It was a bit tattered, but wasn’t everything in the market the same? In front of the man was a blue and purple orb. It swirled and shifted colors every few seconds.
“Two shillings a reading, ma’am. It’ll tell you anything you want to know about your future,” proclaimed the man.
“Not likely,” She muttered under her breath, so that the wizard couldn't hear. She then looked up at him. “I’ll pay you after you've done the reading,” She told him firmly.
“Not the usual way we do things here. . . but it’ll work,” he said after a pause.
Then he placed his hands on the orb, and began muttering something ineligible. The lady doubted it was English. The orb was swirling more quickly now, and the man put on a fake look of concentration.
“It says. . . you and your family will be happy for years,” the wizard announced.
She smirked slightly under her mask. Of course he would say that. A year ago, she would have punched him. But her feelings were under control now. She handed him seven shillings, before relaxing her stance again.
“Ma’am,” the wizard said, looking at her again. “This is too much money. Is there another thing you require of me?”
“Yes, there is. Something that we wouldn't want Law Enforcement finding out about…”
“Does this require… my actual powers?” the wizard asked, his eyes lighting up.
“Oh yes, it very much does.” She said, and smiled again beneath her mask.
“What is it?” the wizard asked eagerly. It wasn't often he got to use the full extent of his abilities.
“I need you to raise the dead.”

Little Bird

Pet's name: Shattered Heart
Little bird,
Little bird.
I'd tell you a tale,
if only my mouth could move.

It's a tale of a lady,
A diplomat, at that.
And a knight,
Who wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

The lady left to negotiate,
With a kingdom that was feared.
For legend told,
Of their mystical powers.

Oh, but she never came back.
And neither did the guards who went with her.
And the knight who loved her,
When to try and get her back.

But oh, were the legends true!
He didn't get far,
Only to frozen in place.
His loyalty and bravery
Only repaid with something worse than death,
He was turned to stone.

Though his body is frozen,
His mind works fine.
It swirls and turns,
And shows him every place where he went wrong.
It's been so long,
And he's crumbling now.

Little bird,
Little bird.
As my eyes move back and forth,
Can't you see?
This statue has a heart.
And it longs for his lover's company.

That is the sequel to "Forgotten". Written just by me.
Doesn't this dog go perfectly with the Staff Tree Dog? It's the one I used for "Forgotten".
