I refrained from answering before because I'm still not 100% certain but it looks to me like the best thing to do would be take off one of the horses on your side. :) It's definitely not unfair to them but I believe it's unfair to you although I can't be quite certain how much - so you might want another opinion lol.

It kind of depends really.
If you take the rats it's likely it will take you a little longer to work your way up but in the end you might end up with quite a bit more fodder considering the is quite a lot of value there and I know there are plenty of users who still pay fairly for rats - and although it might be a little tougher to get onto the list with them you do have the malk cats too so that would probably help.
The cream santa hat advent is overpay for what they're asking but again it's not worth as much as the pure rat trade and they are asking you to add more to your side as well. You would be on the list which can be helpful but you might not end up with the same overall value compared to if you were to take the rats - it's a bit of a risk. :)
