Trade Rant Thread :) - Please Lock. New Thread !

Oh, my I got a trade offer from someone wanting some rares, bats, and a coupe other Halloween hunt items and offering in return some common malk pets and a couple others. This wasn't the first trade I'd gotten that day where people ignore my rules: I have every possible pet I would want on my wishlist, so all you have to do to know if I would trade is offer pets on my wishlist- which is why it says in my rules to please offer only wishlist pets! It should be a big clue when all the pets you are asking for have big shiny stars next to 'em and all the pets you're offering are lonely and starless!
Anyway so I was already frustrated from the other trades, but this one really took the cake!So I was trying to think of a creative way to tell them how ridiculous they were being without being mean. A simple cancel was just not going to be emotionally satisfying.
In the end, I just edited the trade offering them the same pets they were offering to me (see that's why they're not on my wishlist!) and asking for some Halloweens and rares that were on my wishlist. I sent no message 'cause again, I wasn't wanting to be rude just kinda prove my point. Apparently they didn't think it was a fair trade, since they canceled it immediately.

Some of us are already trading off our candy I got quite a few hoard pets yesterday, lol.

Oh, my god. This person who already spammed my offsite trades thread and sent me a couple two godawful trades for my older items stepped it up today. I sign on to...
"____ wants 289 items"

This is their message: "oka i love these types of items even more of them tat u have that i really like also but yeah look through my stuff for what u want of these items and u can take out stuff u don't want to trade maybe if u let me have all of these items i'll give u my raven wolf it's self for all of what i asked for"

I think they just asked for EVERY item I have that's not on a pet. Including '08 Christmas items, '09 Valentines items, and store stuff that cost actual money. Dear God, that is the worst trade I've probably ever gotten. My cancel message was a simple "If you send me one more trade you are going on my foes list."

Hopefully that's clear enough that they manage to read it, given that they've broken all of my other rules.

Again (see my last post): I offered for a Bat... "Sorry I don't trade bats." What the crap! Lock them then, please. It will save you tons of time canceling trades and also spare you from having people upset at you. I have ALL pets I don't want to trade locked, and guess what? They are virtually never offered on. I occasionally get people telling (not asking) me to edit in one of my pets that are in a locked group, I just tell them the pet is locked for a reason and cancel. But if I had them unlocked, I'm positive they'd get offered on all the time.
So in short, please, lock pets you don't want to trade!!!

But see if the pet or group has NFT or Never For Trade in it's name, that's alright, because you can see what pets they will and won't trade. Still kinda annoying they are left open, but you can still read the intentions. The ones I offered on were nameless and in groups with other pets that they were trading. That's so confusing, annoying, and frustrating to traders.

I was looking through my trades and my first was sucky. I was a total newb back then...well, no duh, but the person asks for some Chistams items for a uc pet. Like, que?

But I accpted cause I was stupid back then.

I have a disclaimer for people sending in trades. It says "Files greater than 09 are not for trade" My collection (which is just monthly releases) are negotiable. Let's just say this. The TRADE file is easier to get into than any other file, because of the fact it's a file that has been designated for the pets I do not want to keep.
