It ticks me off how many people whine to me 'But you have X number of pets already!" then start begging or what not, offering a lackluster pet for my prize.

Yes, I have X number of pets. I bought them or traded well for them.

No, my Sept 08 rose dog is NOT worth your Oct 08 moon dog. Not even close on the rarity scale. Even in Oct 08, they (rose dog) were hard to get and Oct 08s were dime a dozen.

No, I won't trade my rare May lion for one fish that I have thousands of.

Why do people always run to the back and pick the rarest pet I have instead of something on their wishlist that is closer to the pet they're offering. SKKKDDDFFFF!

Best trade I've done in weeks was a toxic of mine for a grey dragon. *sigh* Are there no more good traders out there?

I wonder the same thing. I've gotten sick of getting dozens of begging trades so I shut down my trades completely. I don't want to, but I can't take the headache and disappointment when I get a trade and it's nothing but a few commons for something of true rarity. But, I still get trades, and even PM's now. *sighs*

And agreed about the post above. If the trade is unfair, and they say no, why are you going after them about it? They have the pets they have for a reason, and as Firestar said, they've worked for them. Just because they have three doesn't mean they're not entitled to three. They can have as many as they want. For all you know, they could have sentimental meaning.

But, sadly, I got a trade that made me flip. -.- I'm usually -very- even tempered, and polite. But yeah...
I received a trade for four of my pets. Granted, they're only 3rd gens,I could have (And might have) parted with them. (Though they have a full set of them? ) But that's not what ticked me off.
Their message?

Wow, first you take pets out of my folders that aren't even for trade, that certainly isn't marked as 'Free' but 'Nursery'....then you completely ignore me by deciding to go against the very first statement in my trades settings. "Trades are currently shut down as I prepare for the holidays coming up. " Yeah, you're right, I didn't mean it! Please, c'mon in! Just ignore my wishes and wants, please, I don't matter at all! Then, on top of all of that, you don't even have the Politeness to Ask??? Wow...thank you, sincerely. What a great way to make my day. >.>

That trade wouldn't be a biggie if they sent a message saying "Pick which ONE of these Uncommons you will give for the 2 commons." But just sending that trade is far from fair!
