Look at the person who gave the pets to them. What did they get back from them? Maybe it was what a very good friend of mine did - I was a complete n00b, and they gave me 50 rares for FREE to help me out. I now have a Gearback Tribal and White July because of that. Maybe it's for help. Investigate. If you notice that the other person is giving the newbie some pets for bad or nothing in return, then really think about it.

Also, my best friend PalmTreeEnvy gives me good pets for free. If I were to add up ONE THIRD of the things from her, I'd say it's worth a zebra, rarity wise. But she's my BFF for 9 years. And I have her stuff OFF of CS, so you never know.

I have one person always wanting a rare pet from '08 (don't know which month at the moment) and sending me 3 very commons for it and they aren't even on my wishlist (which is very big)

Another person wants some of my items and gives me almost nothing for them (still nothing on my wishlist)

The last person is wanting some rare cat I have two of but are rare and sent me all this stuff for it. And what was on that offer? One pet actually on my wishlist.

I have a place with pets I'm currently looking for and it even has the items I can't buy that I want! I think they just don't know how to read or something. Also in my rules, there is a secret word in big letters and is in red that you put in your message so I know you read the rules. Half the time I get "Fair trade? " "PLEASE IT'S MY DREAM PET" or my favorite *not really* "U HALF 2 GIVE ME THS PET! IT IS THE ONY 1 IM LOKING 4444!!!!" The only person who gets free pets or rare pets from me is my friend who just started playing and only has 2 pets she got from me. That felt good to get that off my chest!

They are NOT worth older rares! DX They aren't even worth older uncommons! Get those annoying horses off of my pets!

My, I haven't had to rant here in a while...

I keep getting trades from a COPPA'd player. I accepted their first few trades because I was feeling generous and I wanted to help them out, since they joined this month. So, I traded a few commons for a few newborns, no big deal. Now, they won't leave me alone, asking for more pets and offering pets from last month that I already have. I've been cancelling with the message 'Sorry, you don't have anything that I want.', but they don't seem to understand that I mean that THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING WORTH TRADING FOR.[/capsabuse]

To be completely fair, the person also offered a bunch of 08 Uncommons including a Camo dog and a few Card Dogs along with the UR Cat, UR Purple Horse and May 2010 Lioness.

However...

The person bypassed my wishlist only block with a wishlist pet (UR Cat in this case). Their trade message says it all really.
