Yes! :D You can tell by the distinctive stripes on the chest of the males, as well as a spotted tail. Markings such as the orange cheek are not present in all mutations, but you can see them in most of the outcomes of the chickens c: I adore them <3 although, I'm not exactly sure what mutation this is supposed to be...

I don't think so.
It looks like there's three full pairs of Zebra Finches. Male and female in each variety.

None of the pets actually grabbed me this month. Except for the cats initially, which I really liked, but when they grew up I found myself liking them a little less.

I dunno, just none of the let's had me saying "oooooh!!!!" None of them.

I wouldn't be too worried -- there are some months I don't feel much about the pets, there are others that absolutely blow me away. I'm sure if you weren't satisfied with the pets this month there'll always be the next months to look forward to!:)

True. I'm looking forward to the second-gen pets and the cats (as always). The other pets rarely catch my attention usually. Actually, it's usually just the cats that I like, and originally I only collected them, but for completions/having them ally's sake, I try to get one of every pet from the month.
