People can call their pets/pups whatever they please, though for trading purposes and trying to explain to others what pet you are talking about, would be preferred they don't use a name only they go by.

When they are full grown, opinions may change completely. I'm so interested to see how they'll look when grown, and what 'official' name they will be given
