Trade Rant Thread v. 27 *new rules*

When you give someone a significantly large gift (Let's say a Blue Rose, because they're pretty. And I've gifted two of them. So it applies to me. Derp.)

They post on the 'Good Trade' thread.
Suddenly, swarms of people sending you "gifts". People you don't know. People you've never even heard of. Lurkers.
An extremely heinous amount of COPPA'd users, to boot.

Seeing that I gifted a friend, and decided that you should befriend me in order to receive awesome gifts as well.
You can't buy my affections with gifts, people.

Unless there's Red Bull and orange chicken involved.
But I digress.

Ulterior motive gifts = a very irked Sugar Snap.

Usually I gift people in the GTT all the time too xDD
But not for that particular reason, I just love gifting in general :3

My rats are driving me nuts!

Umm I just gift random people on thr GTT because I like it. :p Not exactly trying to motivate anything. xD

I gift people in the GTT because I want to repay a bit of the kindness that they showed to others. I used to gift random people but I got tired of them asking for more or not appreciating the gifts, so I started only gifting those that I see displaying that sort of kindness to others as well, not because I expect something in return.

I disagree, when I see someone is being thanked on the Good Trade Thread, I send them a gift sometimes and it's just to show that I appreciate their kindness

I understand, happens to me when I gift cerberus's and liontails and BA's. But no, I like to gift people on the GTT that I felt was self-less and gave a really, really good gift. I don't want gifts back. I don't expect friendship. I just want to gift the person because I think they deserved it ;u; I know it's odd, but think of it saying "thanks for giving this person a really awesome gift, so here is a special gift for you because you rock." and I usually gift them a september list or main list.

But uhm.... otherwise noted... you've sent me 4 trades like this, one each after I canceled. I explained why I canceled in the first place, but you sent more. e__e
