Actually you can probably get a fair swap if someone is really wanting that 10' uncommon, all comes down to species though, Reversing the process of where you can have 2 11' uncommon which can also equal an 11' rare, the new 13' storpets are worth 1 11' rare each apparently.

from here, therefore other '11 rares can't be worth much more than that.

Store pets shouldn't get magically devalued when traded for '11 rares which cost half the price at most.

I guess I was just a little confused before, but it makes sense, thank you. I myself run into trouble when trying to determine the appropriate C$ value for some things (09'/10'/08' rares being the hardest) so I was just curious to see how it's done. Thanks for your help!

there is nothing really hard with the '08-'09 rares prices by the way.

20-25C$ for the late '09 rares (+ around 5C$ if they are in big demand, - around 5C$ for unpopular species)
25-30C$ for the early '09 rares (same as above)
35-40C$ for '08 rares (same as above as well)
+ around 10C$ for non-list very rares accordingly.

you could use this price check (with some correction for your/your trade partner opinion) and there shouldn't be any problems :3

Guys, stop arguing please. The C$ system is flawed, and someone needs to contact some higher players to edit the prices as they have gone up over the years, for now there is nothing we can do about it.
