Just for giggles, I wanted to do a comparison of the old vs new jelly/gummy ponies. :'D

old

I was always disappointed in these ponies. I loved the concept and idea, but to me they didnt look gummy or jelly at all. To me, they look like rubber. The lights and darks of the shading were basically plain white shine with a grey shading effect set to multiply. Not so pretty. All in all, I strongly disliked these ponies.

new

just.... wow. these ponies blew me away. Now they actually look like jelly! The bright overlayed highlights and the perfect colored shading is just... spectacular. I have never liked ponies or horses on CS, but I just had to hoard these. Just... wow. They actually look like what they were made to be.

I am going to have to say I rather liked the old ones better then the new ones..To me the new ones seem more fake and not gummi like well the old ones did..but then again thats just me..But I guess I have 118 of these guys to deal with..-sigh-

The new lines look more realistic, and the designs look wonderful. I think Sorren and Chia did a great job!♥

exactly. i can live with the linearts changing over but my favorite draft is messed up! it needs more hearts like it is supposed to have
