All these art shops have such high prices (advents+). Geez...I don't have the fodder for that! @_@

Some of those works take like hours to make!

That's the reason why I am not selling my stuff here. The coloured pencil drawings I make don't have demand and despite I'd spent hours over hours on just one piece all I can get is a 2010 UC.

The high prices need to represent the long work time people put in their work. If you imagine even people without any special training get 5-10 bucks per hour for their work, and how many C$ and advent is worth. Of course you can't put it 1:1 into money what you make here but still.

If the art is really good the price is well deserved!

I can get art better or the same quality for just any 09 rare, or just a store pet. One maybe traditional, one maybe digital. In many cases these people charging advents + are waaay overpriced, since I can get better or the same quality art, or just same quality art of a different species they 'just dont do', and well. Its annoying ;u; So no, HALF of these people charging advents + are way overpriced for their talent or what other people are offering. If they say, said they wanted 2-3 rares or 1 VR, they'd be FULL all the time, and would get a LOT of fodder, and paperclip like us, instead of just getting list pets. ;u; (Yeah in some cases they deserve the list pet, but half of the time they dont and its annoying ;u;)

I calmly explained the gap was a Dogtag, before they had added '11 items worth a '09 rare IF you where lucky...

i really want art. i even made a thread for it. uwu
someone whos art i really like replied to it, but they
want like main list for it. i was possibly prepared to offer
advent list for multiple pieces or very, very high quality art
but... they said they were interested in my red rose pps. that is just
too high for me right now, but their art is amazing.. y-y

Just because some people sell their art cheaper than others that doesn't mean those who charge more are greedy or their art is overpriced.

In my opinion you can't even reflect the fact that someone spent several hours if not days on a piece of art with pixels. I am talking about high quality art here, and yes there is art out there which I would not consider to pay list pets for, and yes some of those are even overpriced (if I had those).

And have you thought about it that they may not want to be full at all times? I can see why they want to make only some art of high quality for good payment, so they can take time for each order. Also don't forget this is a game and most of those making art are not pros. They have a life a job a family. And no one should be oblieged to sell their work and time cheap, take more quantity and then paperclip as you suggest.
