Is this okay? It's a big overpay for you since I'm giving you a malk, but I have been looking for this guy for a long time and I wouldn't mind overpaying a bit. Feel free to edit

Correction: I am overpaying and I do mind overpaying this much. Spencer is a year older than your dog. It being a Malk has nothing to do with fairness. That lineart was retired before Malk did. The years and rarities are the fairness decider, not you and not the linearts. Just because Malk retired does not make the pets worth gold. It means that there will be new lines replacing the owls and spiders. All of the pets that are not on lists are in the "three month rule". Thank you for your time.

Seriously? The only reason I keep that group open is for overpay trades, or at least fair ones! This is ridiculous. Just because the Tess cats are retired doesn't make people pay six times what they're worth! >:c

I didn't see anything of value in their open groups, so I sent it back to them as a suggestion (because two of the pets they offered were in locked groups) with a link to the rares list and the message "You'd need to add a lot more."

They sent the exact same thing back with the following message:

No I wouldn't. I'm offering a 2009 pet for a fairly new pet. This is fair.

I canceled with this message:

No, you don't understand. The UR Cucumber is on the main rares list above the big gap. It's worth more than a nondog and is equal in rarity to the UR Bannana.

They then felt the need to PM me about the trade.

Yes I do understand. I know it it. No it isn't, that is one of the equal choices. I've been a member of this site longer than you (2008) so I should know.

Their join date was in 2012..? So I don't know if they really did join in 2008 and then just made a new account or what.

I replied:

I said it is equal in worth to a UR Bananna. If you know this, then why didn't you offer fairly? Just because I joined in 2011 doesn't mean I don't know my rarities.

Then they said:

I offered an OLDER pet.

Yes, but the Boar pps is only on the advent list and nowhere near being fair for the UR Cucumber. Didn't you even look at the link I sent you?

If you joined in 2008 you should know that sometimes newer release pets (Like The UR's) are worth more than older pets, ex. 2008 Advents. Just because something is older doesn't always mean that it is fair.

They didn't reply to that.

~ Where to start? Okay, well thank you, I try to be kind to people, but honestly, complimenting me and then sending trades like these just irks me more. I cancelled without freaking out, just a message on maybe to check a trading guidline thread or something. But really.

~ And then the whole rarity thing... Okay thanks for not bothering. Yes, they are unknown rarities, but since NONE of the other pets come out to be even rare, why in the world would one of the 2013 pets come out very rare? And even if they did it would be unfair!
