I have no ambition to get a full collection, so I don't have to worry about breaking one up. I just have a hodgepodge of pets, so I don't think I'd miss a few here and there that are just collecting dust. The only thing I really worry about is how hard they are to find any more even though I hoard a VC. x.x It wouldn't matter if I traded rares for them since nobody seems to have enough to make a large trade worth it. Ah, the hardships of a hoarder's life xD

You know? You're right.
There Don't seem to be very many of those dogs around that you hoard, if they're the ones in your trade rules.
I can't tell you the last time I noticed one in a trade group.

I'm always surprised about what people even want for VCs... maybe it was because the Cupid cat was an advent, but still... even for this BW they wanted uncommons.
I'm a bit sick of those kind of ridiculous trades. =3=

About trading my collection, no, I haven't thought about that.
Okay well I did back then when I started hoarding.

But I decided to at least keep one of every pet I own, so I will only trade away what's in my trade groups. Though I trade nearly daily and have many trade fodder, it also doesn't hurt me to give away rares for several hoard pets... that's okay. I often trade a bit unfairly as long as I get the hoard pet I want. If my offer is unfair to me, that's perfectly fine. But I hate it, when someone offers me their two VCs for my rare. =3=

And I doubt that I'll ever give up my collection for hoards, since I'm just a mini-hoarder (usually 20 pets per hoard).

Would I hoard just a few pets with no collection goal, maybe I'd break up my collection.
After all, I'm not in love with every pet on CS. o3o

So I have a question for other hoarders; Am I the only one who has thought of trading away a vast majority of my collection just to build my hoard more? I've gone back and forth for a long time, and I still haven't decided yet xD I am probably crazy and love my hoard a little too much.

I'm really considering it right now. I love chickens so much in real life (I really do lol as well as ducks) and I am absolutely head over heels for their lineart. Not only that, but there're a lot of pets that I only have for the collection of their species, not necessarily because I liked them as they are.

I mean I like the chickens a heck of a lot more than almost all of my pets.

But I'm going to make the decision very slowly. Because it can easily just be the 'new pet species smell' lol. And I might really regret trading the harder to obtain pets for some chickens.

Oh and then there's a fact that quite a lot of pets were gifts (it just hit me). I'd feel so bad for trading them away so easily. D: Especially because most gifts were given by complete strangers of all things. That's a huge stroke of kindness on their part.

i've started a new hoard of the butterfly wolves/dogs hybrids. i haven't had much luck yet, i started hoarding them about a week ago or thereabouts and apart from my own personal collection i haven't managed to get any yet, oh well, maybe my luck'll turn soon ^.^

i must admit i haven't really started on trying to get a full collection yet after several failed attemps but i doubt i'd trade even for a huge bulk.

For some reason I seem to be having a hard time with my two active hoards (and an old one I need to finish). Thankfully both pets can usually be found in the pound

I am over half way to one of my goals ^^
Most of my hoards are never ending but I need goals to start them off ^^
Currently up to 27 on my Cheshire Cat hoard, I has a first goal of 50 ^^ It's eating all my fodder ;-; I need fodder for my other hoards xD

My hoard is nearly at 400 of the curly-tailed peacock dogs. I've been hoarding them since they came out, and are still one of my favorite CS pets. :3
