I've had all four malk elemental cats for like 2 days and I've already gotten 4 sob stories about how they look like their dead pets... What?

This! someone sent me a trade with only pets on my side and I canceled angrily. than they send me a message with the title:
dude,

their message was: bro, calm down. I didn;t mean to make you anrgy or anything!

well I am a girl. -_-

This in reverse. 'Bro' and 'dude' are rather gender-neutral at this point, neither bothers me and I use 'dude' when talking to people of any gender all the time. However, I'm bothered when people use terms like 'deary' and 'sweetie' in trade messages. Those are, sadly, not gender neutral at all, and I am no obvious female.

Happened to me quite frequently when I changed my username from Katt66 (which I've been using for nearly fifteen years everywhere I go) to 'Possum.

People didn't recognize me. People I've had quite happy and agreeable trading experiences with in the past were actually rude and short and snippy with me because they had no idea who I was.

Made me a bit indignant but mostly sad to see how people treat each other.
