Really? The Coontail auctions I've seen haven't gotten very good offers... The best offer I have seen on one - besides the Mint UR Horse that I offered - is a Non-Swirl.

People almost always under offer on auctions to get the best deal. Auctions are tricky. Like, I just got an over-offer on two pets I'm auctioning, so I had them send the trade right away. Most people aren't going to go out of their way to get a coontail if they think they can win with a bid that is unfair to the other person.

Hmm really? I haven't seen very many people even looking for the Coontail though... Even on trade threads. With other pets I usually see people looking for them but I haven't on the Coontail. And I've seen quite a few people auctioning or attempting to trade Coontails....

I've seen plenty of people looking for them. I don't know what you've been looking at.

QFT. ^^ The Coontail's the 5th rarest dog on the site and is a pretty fair swap for a July PPS (I've seen that happen, too).

It isn't always about the level of want either. The coontail is - as agreed on by majority of the rarity followers on the forums - the fifth rarest dog on the site.
Adding to that it is a dog, and dogs are considered more valuable than any other pet on this site with only a few exceptions.

The Mint horse is much more valuable than a purple UR horse, but it is not anywhere near the value of a coontail these days. Try a nonjewel at most actually.
