I think I saw someone already post this but I personally think the Zebra would be a better offer just because BAs go for sorbs and 3 sorbs = a non.
Both would be overpay in that case but if you were to trade the zebra, I am sure you could find something more than a Non Jewel if you look in the right places.(:
I would get another opinion because, like I said, this is only my opinion and who you choose to trade the Zebra to and what they would pay.

Correct, rarity wise, unfair to the pony. I've never seen either one have very high demand. I'd still say unfair to the pony, even counting demand. But I'd get another opinion to be sure. :]
