Okay question, wouldn't a glowing red PPS technically be rarer then an Apple? And apple will released once a year, while a glowing red PPS is only released once and that's it. Plus I've seen more apples around then glowing red PPS...

No, I'm pretty sure the apple is rarer. There were a lot more of the glowing red PPS's (the newborns) realesed than there were apples. You also have a very slim chance of getting the apple on the 18th.

People are probably just offering their apples to get rare pets or wishlist pets, where as the glowing PPS isn't as in demand so you may not see it advertised as much.

I'm not exactly sure of the apples worth but to me that seems pretty fair. ^^
