I am so confused about C$ these days. ;_______;

Sometimes it's simple. In general, 1 2009 rare = 20 C$. I just paid 43 C$ for two '09 dogs. Simple.

But sometimes it's hard.

I just don't know how to price things anymore.

Oh, look, an '08 rat! That should be...... hmmmmm..... I don't know! It's happened to me a few times already. I've been asking for rare and VR rats from '08 for my C$. People offer, and I quickly realized that I am at a loss as to their price.

'09 rare rat = 20 C$ (in general?), so '08 rare rat = 30 C$? '09 VR rat = 40 C$ (in general?), so '08 VR rat = 60 C$?

BUT. That can't possibly be correct because 60 C$ is technically worth a lowish, almost mid-tier, Advent List pet.

I certainly don't want to pay through the nose for any pet (like I used to do all the time, before I knew what I know now), much less a rat with no demand, but I also don't want to short the people who want my C$.

Maybe its worth somewhere in the 50ish range? IDK. (i'd offer you a 09' rare dog but it seems you only want rats right now X3)

Um, is it just me or is that kind of rude? A gift is a gift and they should be happy to get any gift at all.

Well, I'm suddenly getting a lot of trades, but this one ticked me off.

Is i gave you these + got the purp.e eyed advent( above) would you accept????( i could also get the malk wolf and bunny instead!)

They were referring to the pets in my trade rules, which would be a fire Malk wolf, the red butterbun, and the floppy border collie.

I cancel with a simple "I would appreciate if you read the group name." That rose is in a group marked "Date Swaps ONLY" and if that's not clear enough, I explain what it means in my trade rules.

Gosh, thought you actually wanted a dreamy but....

Me: "Oh, yes, because I am totally going to give my mid-September's List pet for two mid-Advents.

And I don't care how much I want the pet (not a dreamie), I am not going to give you or anyone else special allowance to break my trade rules just because you are offering to trade me that pet."

Whatever you say.......
