When people cancel a trade because it is "Unfair" and you told them to edit it....

this.. this so much ! i cannot read mind so i add what ever n our wl to show i have your wl pets and ask you kindly edit, but then i got cancelled trades not fair... well i wanted you to edit it thats why its a suggestion

Sometimes I cancel those kinds if suggestions because to make it fair in my eyes would mean I add quite a bit more and I know the other person would cancel anyway so why waste more of my time.....

That's why I put in my rules, send it with what you want from me and what you expect is fair payment.

One time I had just finished trading someone for some '10 uncommons and other pets and then a few moments later I got another trade on my oldest and rarerest pets in my 'pets without a group' and this was their message-

The pets aren't in a group so you don't love them so you don't deserve them, so I should have them.

And I responded with-

HAHA you're really funny, no need to be a jerk- do you REALLY think your going to get pets?? *foe*

And I foe'd them and looked at some of their posts and they are really jerky...

In my eyes, if you want to trade, you'd better make an ok offer up front. You want to trade, then you make the offer. It's the same as putting nothing on your side and asking me what I want.

Uhhhmm.. What kind of logic is that? And if they deserve them, don't they deserve the new commons too? Why only the old ones? That's what I thought xD

Sometimes it's simple. In general, 1 2009 rare = 20 C$. I just paid 43 C$ for two '09 dogs. Simple.

But sometimes it's hard.

I just don't know how to price things anymore.

Oh, look, an '08 rat! That should be...... hmmmmm..... I don't know! It's happened to me a few times already. I've been asking for rare and VR rats from '08 for my C$. People offer, and I quickly realized that I am at a loss as to their price.

'09 rare rat = 20 C$ (in general?), so '08 rare rat = 30 C$? '09 VR rat = 40 C$ (in general?), so '08 VR rat = 60 C$?

BUT. That can't possibly be correct because 60 C$ is technically worth a lowish, almost mid-tier, Advent List pet.

I certainly don't want to pay through the nose for any pet (like I used to do all the time, before I knew what I know now), much less a rat with no demand, but I also don't want to short the people who want my C$.
