You send it back and forth a few times.
You overpay a little,
then they cancel without a message.

so i'm searching for this pet, and i should have known this would happen after the 18th rerelease.
i've gotten about three offers for the newborn that could become this pet. okay cool i appreciate the offer, but i'm not going to trade for something before i know that it will be what i want. the other two outcomes are not something i'm wanting.
i really appreciate the offers and all
but if you expect me to trade my rares for it when there's not a 100% sure that the outcome i want is what it will be
think again...
