Noone has to do anything or give away pets including locking pets if they don't want to.
There are many other different users giving away and tradng pets.
I know but its still kinda annoying to see someone have the pets on their account if they aren't coming back...
They may gift them off or give them to siblings/friends or they may come back :u.
