I was expecting yesterday's pets to be apocalypse-themed. /shot
When did the first outcome of the Poison Dart Frog Butterfly Wolves grow up? And the Caroline Dogs? Both are from May 2009.

In all seriousness, though, I don't see the harm in having two annual re-releases. It might diminish rarities a little, but I think that would be an overall good thing. Even if it's just one pet from the box the second time around.

I would like another re-release too but i think that was why they gave us three pets instead of two like normally. :3
But hey, I wouldn't mind another one too^^

I'll admit I did alright with my original adoptions.. but looking at last year (I got two coondogs, a moonpup, a sunpup, a joker, the UR lion, a banana... and so on), I really would love another release. It'd be cool it if was the new tradition, but if this did happen every year (two rereleases) it would decrease the rarity a bit of some of the rarer pets, but I honestly wouldn't mind too much.

It would not necessarily decrease rarity...the CS economy would only diminish if the members were given more than expected higher end pets based on the numbers of the box actually adopted. I believe the adoption limit of 3 was intended to off set the issue from last year...but only the admins would know the actual numbers of high end pets released & the actual number of boxes adopted.

That's what I was thinking. They gave us three instead of two to make sure there wasn't a repeat of last year (where there weren't enough rerelease adoptions as they had predicted) and had a second one.

Right. But the site also has more members who are active and adopting-- which factors into the idea of how many rereleases can be put out without disrupting the system.
