November Discussion Thread V.2

Everytime I see someone post in here "this is my favorite pet, because..." I almost everytime agree with them and think "oh yeah, thats really the best pet!"
till the next one shows up.
It is really incredibly how amazing the outcomes are these year. I love almost all, and kinda hate it that it will take now a whole year again till we get the next staff-dogs...!
Can't wait!

I must say, all of the staff dogs this year have been extravagant and extremely gorgeous.
But after looking through them all, two came out on top as my favorites (although they are
all sort of favorites in a way. Lets just say I love them all to death *-*).

There is just something about the first one that.. I don't know, draws me in. When I look
at it, I cannot STOP looking at it ._. The elegance of the lines around it, the little heart,
the markings that remind me both of dragonfly wings and stained glass.. its just.. <3
For the second one. The eyes, oh the eyes. Bright blue <3 My favorite type of eyes.
But the eyes aside, the markings are beautiful, and the ears are adorable I just want to
scratch them like I do with my own dogs. The nose as well. I just love little blue noses <3

Just had to add in my say of favorites ^^ Although, again, they are all my favorite.
Well done staff for making another great batch of pets this year

I'm surprised that almost no one commented on Shadow's dog. Is he really that unpopular?



It's one of my favourites if not sole favourite of the whole staff litter. Pale blue fur. Tail edit. Those green eyes. The thread entwining the dog. It's just perfect. Simple, drawn in only one main hue, yet it's a masterpiece.

I agree, I thought it should be named The Icy Squirrel with that tail!

Totally love them all though, not one has been a disappointment and I adore the colours.

Wow.
I'm actually surprised by the responses I've gotten from you guys about my dog.
I've rarely seen any bad reviews (and those that don't necessarily like it are really kind about it).
I was so worried that my non-edit dog wouldn't be liked, I'm glad my first dog came out alright. :3

Also some fun facts:
• Almost had line art edits ( angel wings/halo/closed eyes/three tails ) but I couldn't get the angel wings to look right ( insta rage quit )
• Mismatched eyes were a last add-in ( found two colors I liked, couldn't decide xD )
• Bobtail was a last add-in ( figured it worked with the circle design )
• Floppy ear was a definite from the start ( ; v ; I love floppy ears <3 )

I'll definitely be doing one next year, so if you guys have any tips etc, please feel free to PM me with them.
I'm always looking for inspirations/suggestions. <3

Your dog sticks out because it didn't have a lot of crazy edits, and it's beautiful in it's own way

Ohoho, I must say, the staff litter this year has been amazing♥
As everyone, I have my favourites.

1st; Pluma.

I'm sorry, but the detail in that pet is beautiful! The antlers, the little wings, the delicate patterns. Jeez<33

2nd; Bernouli.

Not enough people have mentioned this beaut. Its tail, omg the tail.. and the fire and the claws and the hat.
It's simply amazing<3

3rd; Selcouth

The eyes. Oh my days the eyes! The eyes are the most beautiful colour I've been! And the snow-dusted cloak.. I'm dying.

4th; Leurai

The only PPS of the litter, and the least known. It stands out to me because of the simplicity of it, the eyes and the brown coat, hnng<3 I also love the chubby effect<33

Okay, I promised myself I would do a review of all the staff pups after they finished growing. So here goes. ^-^
So I guess I'll start with favorites... All 23 of them. xD; Seriously I can't pick a distinct favorite of the bunch. They all have something about them that I love and there's not a single one I dislike. And I especially love the color pallette, since it is almost exactly the same combination of colors that are on my favorite jacket so seeing these colors is so warm and comforting. Fantastic job this year, staff<3 Guess I'll just go in the order that they are in our group, and I apologize in advance for some of the silly dressups I've given them. Cx


This one was a pleasant surprise. I love marine life so I'm a huge fan of this beauty<3 Her expression is especially well-done.


Fiery Gatoh's dog won my heart with yet another unique, simple design. ;u; I really like the asymmetrical markings on his face.


Those eyes<333 Love the use of color and accessories on this design.


There's something about this guy that makes him so loveable. I want to hug him. ^u^ Definitely one of the most adorable outcomes.


Exceeded all expectations. ;u; Her expression, that cute little nose, those gorgeous patterns on her. Stunning. Absolutely stunning.


She looks so soft and sweet. Beautiful eyes and tails were definitely a trend this year. ;A; *pets computer screen*


When I first saw this one I was looking at a tiny screen, so I thought she was hugging her tail. She's still insane levels of cute even though that wasn't true. I adore everything about this one, from the edits (tail<3), to the colors (eyes<3). And of course the super-sweet smile is the icing on the cake. c:


Lovelovelove this beautiful pup. Shadow has always made some of my favorite staff pups and this year did not disappoint. It's not the most exciting outcome but certainly one of the most lovely.


Though I did cover her face, it wasn't because I didn't like it. I happened to be bored and wanted to jump on the bandwagon. xD Her wings, ears, and overall design are just... asiufgeiurg <333


She looks so sad I can't even... ;a; I love it, especially the fluffy line edits. The whole design is very well executed.


This guy brings a smile to my face every time I see him. He looks so happy, and the edits and coloring are brilliant<3


DAT TAIL<3 To me, this dog is really true to the artist's style. I like when you can look at a staff pup and it just screams the artist's name to you. 8D Wonderful job, Spotty.


Definitely one of the more all-out gorgeous designs of the bunch. GORGEOUS I TELL YOU. And of course the eyes... <'3


Absolutely obsessed with this guy. Tyr you have outdone yourself. There are no words for how much I love this pup. ;3;


Solloby's staff pup was my favorite last year and I'm also very pleased with the one this year. Something about the ear edits on both of them is really attractive to me as far as design. The colors are used perfectly, and the edits are very unique and lovely.


If I had to pick favorites I suppose this would fit the bill. The little wisp-friend was such a creative idea, and I love the expression and the plainness of it. It all just works. <33


Some people weren't a big fan of the fur edits on this but I think it's really cool. Reminds me of a great dane or other similar dog breed. And yet more marvelous eyes, of course.


This guy didn't get nearly enough attention. The design is done so well. It's pleasing to the eye without taking away anything of being distracting. As much as I adore the extreme line edits, it's also always nice to see a few more simple outcomes.


Ah Komi. I love you for making this dog. xD He's awesome. Dat beard<3

I always love to see the pets Selcouth makes. He never fails to impress. So beautiful and detailed, and do I need to say it again? I think I do. THOSE EYES<3333


And finally, Moonflight. Typical Moonflight. I'm very glad they ended up doing a staff pup again this year despite no longer being part of the staff. It wouldn't feel right without these cuties and their ear edits<3
