Trade Rant Thread [v. 17] *new rule*

I feel so bad for one of my friends ;.; She quit today because some user said they wanted to get a sun jewel, trade it down, and gift people. Knowing she had no fodder, My friend gifted her one. What do they do? Lock it up, never trade it, and say "Thanks for the free dream pet "

My complete dream is to get a sunjewel. If anybody dared to gift me it, the message would be 1000000 paragraphs long. The fact that she was nice enough to do that is crazy, and the fact that the user said that and did this is just insane. I hate people.

People like that are the reason I want to quit, but people like your friend who gifted that person make me want to stay. ;AA;

its funny because in the "lights on lights off" rules it says you can gift them what ever you feel like and they should accept gracefully or gracefully decline

That is a hideous scam and most definitely reportable; if you haven't reported it already. I'm incredibly sorry although perhaps I did not know your friend or the person who received the gift.

I gifted a whole lot, and I don't even own a rare anymore, much less the tons of rares lists I used to have.

I knew after gifting my July PPS away that i wouldnt get another one but this is just mean.

They write no message at all.

Now in my rules it says that everything locked was a gift, i dont trade gifts and there fore its all NFT, the only UFT things are unlocked and i currently only have 2012 pets unlocked.

so i respond (as kindly as i can with this message)

Forgive me if this sounds rude or anything. You've sent me a suggest for an above the big gap, rares list pet with no message. My rules state everything locked is a gift and NEFT. The only thing im trading and willing to offer is unlocked. Yet you offer such a high pet that i couldn't possibly afford, add nothing to my side and write no message. May i please know the purpose to this suggestion is?

Then they just cancel without writing a message. Seriously what was the point. I feel like they were just waving it in my face cause i cant afford it T-T
