Okay, there's a "Rares List Guide" - it gives people a rough estimation of what the rarest pets are worth.
There's a main list, a September list, and a advents list. The main list is the rarest, September list is in the middle, and the advents are the least rarest out of the 3. Both of the pets in that trade are September list pets. Yours is called a Grinner, and theirs is called a Floppy Pink September. Now, all of the lists have a "high", "mid", and "low" categories. High is the rarest out of that list, the middle is well, the middle, and the low is the lowest in value out of that list.

Their dog is a "mid" September, and your dog is a "low september". So automatically, their dog is worth more than yours. C; If you want it to be fair, you'll have to add 2 "mid" advents.
