Trade Rant Thread [v.15]

i sent a trade to a kinda new person for some uncommons, offering a plushie worth a mid '09 rare.

Saw the bottom person asking about this on the FTT.
Was told they should accept immediately because it was a fantastic bargain.

The person who traded it to them was on hiatus for a long time, and only recently returned,
they had no idea about the Rares List or whether it was fair or not... the poor person and Nonballoon. D:

Maybe it can't be reversed, since they weren't told "This was totally fair! Your Nonballoon is worth less!"...
I don't know- but it kind of annoys me that people can encourage someone to just.. ripe someone off this way.

They people who encouraged the bottom user to accept all knew it was completely unfair,
and all of them said they should accept it without a thought- seriously you people.. how greedy or dishonest can you be?

I've had newer players or players who return after a long time trade with me before,
and when it's unfair- I tell them about it and explain why so they won't get ripped off.

I don't try to con them out of the pets since they don't know.

This is just pathetic. I was told off once, by multiple people, for telling someone on the FTT that their trade was unfair to the other person and to edit it to be fair to the other person or cancel it. The FTT "helpers" got all on my case because I was giving a moral opinion. What's wrong with you people?! Does honor not exist anymore?

Oh yes, I know that person. They annoy the crap out of me because they constantly post trades of the fair trade thread after accepting and asking whether or not it was fair. They know exactly what they're doing, ninja-trading with all these poor users. Why else would the post the trade after the fact? I think it's more of a show off thing, like "Check out the deal I just got." I dislike them for that but what could you do.

That's what's wrong with the FTT. But there's nothing you can really do about it.
