So I got this trade from an '09 user with the message,

Hope this meets your....liking. -_- Anyways, um...oh yes! Please don't get mad at me because i read your wishlist but i just found it extremely confusing...

Weird message, unfair to me, but they had a lot of pets I was interested in so I edit to this. A little unfair to them, yes, but I figured we would be able to work something out.
Then they send this back telling me that those two aren't for trade. (they were not in a NFT group, nor were they marked NFT in any way.)
So I send this back to them.
I get this back with the message,

Is this better?

That certainly was not better, so I just send this again.
Then they send this back, saying,

dates matter....

By this point I was positive that they were trying to scam me (an '09 user that doesn't know about re-releases or dates or demand? Yeah right.) but I sent this back anyway, explaining to them that my dog is a re-release from January 09.
Then they replace the rainbow dog with a rare 2010 bat and send the trade back saying,

No, i dont see the point, then...

Augh, the point is I want the rainbow dog and I want to use my dog to trade for it!
So I decide to send the trade for the rainbow dog back one more time, even though I doubt they'll accept it, and now they are just letting it sit.
Even though I joined in March of this year, I know my rarities (well enough to know when someone is trying to scam me, at least).

These rats are killing me. I feel really badly because I'm not a "rat hater," but even though I want them, I just can't trade my 2010 staff dogs for them, and those are always the only wishlist I have that matches up in date and rarity. >.< The BW I was planning to trade for one of them is common now, and the rats are still uncommon. Argh.

are you really doing that star wars thing? Isn't that a little extreme?

Those Lion Cubs aren't even allowed on the same side of my account as the real valuable pets.
Even the UR Lion is back a page or two trying to stay away from them.

Look through my groups you'll see what I mean, seriously, he won't even stay on the same page as the little upstarts.

On a different note, I hate canceling fair trades just because I don't like the offer. I feel bad. But I can't take something I like less for something I like more.

If someone did that to me, I'd say yes I like whatever they're asking about, even if its something I hate with a passion, just to see if they were really going to cancel. I would die of laughter if they did o.o
