You know, it is easy to see the difference between real autocancels and fake ones. It was sent yesterday, so there was plenty of time to cancel it. Not to mention, I spent ages this morning trying to work out what was the best bid, and they were online all through this time; it's not like they only just logged on.
Ouch. Major ouch. Why would someone even do that?
I had a bid that someone sent as a suggestion, it was a small trade up for me and I sent it back to them as a trade saying that it was auto'd and please accept this when you can. It got cancelled no less than an hour later. With no message. Just cancelled.

- people auctioning off pets that have no demand and should not be auctioned off.
- people auctioning off pets that have demand but are not nearly as rare enough to be auctioned off.
- people who don't keep up with their auctions/complain about not getting right bids.
- people who auction off a pet that they don't really want to let go off. To see what they can get.
And last but not least,
- people who have no patience. Trading and auctioning is all about having patience. If you can't bring up the patience to wait for a fair trade or to wait for what you wanted for your pet, then please..don't bother others by it and don't auction yer pet.
Not meant at anyone in particular, i just don't get why people would waste other people's time with these silly auctions.
Oh my DD, you took these words right out of my mouth Cx Especially the third listed point about people keeping up with there auctions. It's so frustrating when people only update their auctions like once every week /:
I must agree with this as well. Auctions to me are a commitment, meaning if somebody offers an auto or a trade thats really good you can't back out because 'you just wanted to see what people would offer. The pets that don't go with my auctions are the ones with unfair bids for then or with pets I don't really want and that I'd I want to have the demand to reauction them. If you're just making the auction to see what bids you get for it is a waste. That's wasting everyone's time. If you really want to see what your pet can bring, go look at older auctions or ask some people. Other wise by you making an auction for it and then cancelling it because you dont want to trade the pet rubs the bidders wrong. When you wait weeks to see if you win then get a message saying the let isnt being given away because they really didnt want to trade it from the beginning. I've been in auctions like that, it's completely frustrating exspecially if you went hunting to get certain pets that they listed as boosters or the auto. Is there even a thread that you could post to see what other people have gotten from succesful auctions of that pet. That would be a good topic if it was sticky'd to avoid auctions like that. Wouldn't it?
Also the autos not being autos. Don't list an auto that once you get a bid with it you're going to let it rot for a day or even longer because you want to see if someone will beat it. No. Just No. That's not right. If you listed an auto then you need to honour that. Not post it on the thread with a message like "OMG This is AMAZING! Will be AUTO'D within (time frame) If not OUTBIDDED by then. Um, that's not very fair to the bidder. I know auction autos are aubjected to change at anytime but for a bidder to send the auto and check the thread and find it with a message like that beside it, doesn't that make them at the very least annoyed? I mean really, it's like they're broadcasting that they want someone to outbid you just cause you sent their listed auto.
I'm always open to letting people edit their bids, to suggest what could be added to make it fair and I keep my bids updated. Daily, once I get a bid it's added. If one gets canceled I remove it once it's been canceled. If someone edits it as soon as I get it back it gets replaced. Daily is the the best way to keep everything up to date. Every few days would be okay too. But a week or two weeks or even at the end of the auction to update the bids is frustrating.
