Why is it required to send a message? I see it nowhere in the rules of CS and I almost never do. Most people don't and that's just a part of CS.
Deal with it.

Like Blitz said, no one is required to send a message along with their trades, sending or canceling.
While it is nice to have a little feedback, it is better to cancel without a message than type something that could come off rude to the person receiving it, causing them to get into trouble.

Reminds me of the fact that it's technically not required to talk in this world xD Also reminds me of how sometimes, people would rather keep their mouths shut, just in case xD

I hate that when you realize you don't have a complete set of something. I'm that way with trading things off too. If I have a complete set I'll trade the whole thing off for underpay rather than just trade off a pet or two out of it and be stuck with a broken set. D:
