Why is it required to send a message? I see it nowhere in the rules of CS and I almost never do. Most people don't and that's just a part of CS.

Like Blitz said, no one is required to send a message along with their trades, sending or canceling.
While it is nice to have a little feedback, it is better to cancel without a message than type something that could come off rude to the person receiving it, causing them to get into trouble.
Reminds me of the fact that it's technically not required to talk in this world xD Also reminds me of how sometimes, people would rather keep their mouths shut, just in case xD
Although... whenever someone cancels/accepts/edits without a message, COPPA'd or not, I just kinda sit in my chair and scratch my head... wondering if the offer was really good? If the person loved it? If the person hated it? If it was fair but I managed to skip over the part where they only want WL pets?
So yeah, no message... while it irks me because I'm just left clueless, I don't get mad at it very much
although I don't like being told to deal with things, and I'm sure that no one actively enjoys such a thing, buuuuut oh well -shrugs-
