As I turn my face to the moon, I can see its cold gaze as it meets me... Its warm light as it heats me...
Challenging me to fight against fate...
As I stand, to draw out a fragment of my past, a single rose that was tossed back into my face, tears slip down my darkened cheeks...
But the moon looks on coldly, mercilessly... Not comfort nor a shred of pity can be found on its surface...
And I cry out... A shout to the moon, a message to the one I love...
"I will always be there for thee! My demon! My angel! My honey! My love!
Through blizzard and through thunderstorm, always there!
Always waiting... Forever, my love! I will never give in!"
And I never did... For even now I wait out in the cold...
Forever there... Forever battling with no-one other than myself...
Sometimes it is a mere fragment, that can tear a person's life apart...
