Why is it so hard to find someone who understand the meaning "Paperclip"? >.<

I gotta say, I don't know what this is, but I'm fairly new still.

It's a method of being able to achieve rarer and more valuable pets. You start with a pet, say a july 2011 common, then you exchange it for a may 2011 common or uncommon and so on. You basically trade up a few months or achieve a higher rarity. I've seen someone who started out with a december 2011 common pet, and they managed to get a sunback (one of the rarest pets on CS). I've thought about starting one, but I'm not sure if anyone would help me

It helped me. Traded some of my items, 3 2009 Rare dogs (that were all paperclips) and got a Raven Dog in exchange. First Rares List pet ever, and mainly thanks to paperclips.

Someone kept trading a red paperclip for stuff that was worth more, and eventually got a house.

Some users on CS are following this and are trading their pets up little by little until they get their target pet.

I'm personally not in support for this idea, since it makes some people lazy and think that all they have to do is grab a pet and wait, and eventually it'll become a sunjewel or something xP

In reality, I end up offering additional pets (rares occasionally) to "paperclip".
I'm cool with that (overpaying). Some people though see "paperclip" and think "free".
I don't know why...but that was more of what I was ranting about.

Maybe I'm out of tune with CS demand but how is this bid not winning for a raven?
Might have to acquire a Sunjewel to even consider entering a raven auction...-sigh-

uhg. i made a mistake of making a generous trade (1 squid baby for 3 2011 uncommon butterwolfs, they were new people and i wanted to be nice. now i get pm's constantly with them asking me to trade them my 09 rares. they said if i accepted a trade for 1 2012 uncommon for 10 of my 09 rares they would try to get my dreamie for me. . . . right. . . um . . . no. i will trade directly for my dreamie and not leave that in the hands of a stranger. thanks . . . .

Oh wow, sounds kind of cool and at least I know now XD I guess it's kind of a cool idea if you can get others to help.
