I'd definitely be interested to see how you end up working out this points list. It's not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but I think that there are different ways to approach it, with some better than others. As for shortcuts, I've got a bunch I know of so I'll message you here/skype about them sometime (the ones I have so far or that I've come across / know of) when I've got free time (super busy the next week and a half with finals). And as for gaps, I think the conversation about that sort of just died after people started talking about a points system even though we haven't even really completely finished discussing gaps. If I come across anything though I'll let you know.

That's certainly not true. There are still fair tier swaps for the BA and basically just about every single in-demand pet. I got my BA for just under list value after a lot of searching and some patience, and that was late 2012. The BA's in a different situation than the Tiger in that I still see fair trades for BAs but I haven't seen a single fair swap for Tigers (and I've been paying pretty close attention to all the Tigers pretty much). The dark leopard also has demand; it's not very high like other pets but it's still there. It's also quite the very rare pet and rather difficult to find if you actually start going around trying to look for ones available for trade. I don't really see why the dark leopard would need to be moved down, and as far as BAs are concerned, I believe that's part of the gaps / placement discussion that trailed off previously, where we were all waiting for input from other users to see what people thought. I personally don't think the BA needs to be moved though.
