Demand has already catapulted the Joker way higher than it's worth. I mean, it was a November dog. (Now I may be remembering wrong on this), but I was once told by someone that there was no adoption limit on the card dogs. Or they were available for more than one month, or something.

Either way. I know personal experience can be very compelling to your impression of its worth, but I just do not see a Joker for a Purple Toxic ever being a fair trade. Demand can only account for so much before it's just taking advantage of a person's desperation to have a certain pet. Of course that's no excuse for someone to get mad at you for refusing a trade for reasons of personal preference.

For the Joker/Gearback trade though, I'd say you could take off one of the rares (besides the BMD). That should be fine. ^^

@LightBlueAqua: You're right, in general Sorbets are worth more than Toxics. I'm not sure about the blue and purple ones though, since those are pretty rare.

@EmoRainbows: I think that's an overoffer. The Mustard Advent plus the '08 rares should be enough.

November I believe was the month when the implemented the trade limit.

I agree with that - it goes for a lot. However, I'll still stick by the idea that statistically it is worth a balloon dog. If we were to say it was worth at least sorbet or toxic, then the price might be pushed up even higher when it really shouldn't be. ^^

I just get a little upset at times when people come from this thread hollering at me for being a greedy bastard for not trading a joker to them for a blue balloon dog. Or when someone trades their dear Joker away for way cheaper than they could get for it ^^;

The joker is one of those dogs that people tend to trade based on how they individually value it, kind of like the UR dog (at the moment). Cx

Nah, the Black Advent is worth that much. Jeweled is right, it's a good offer. I've seen them go for more. This is where the demand and desire for them brings up the price. Plus, isn't the Black Advent an 08?
