Nah, Jokers go for sorberts. It takes a little more to get a toxic.

Jokers do absolutely not go for Sorbets, that would be very unfair for any Sorbet or Toxic for that matter. Jokers are worth common Augusts like the Blue or Pink balloon or another equivalent like the Wood Angel. No more.

Seasonal, you're talking about pet eggs for one of the Easter draft horses? I think maybe 4 or 5 of them would be fair, since the drafts have so many outcomes and were out for so short a time.

Devilish: I agree with Jeweled. ^^ They may not be the most in demand, but it's still a Dogtag. I would wait until you get a fair offer.

Actually, Jokers do go for sorberts. Usually multiple ones. Some go for toxics. And I have to agree with DiabolicReality. The Joker isn't very rare, but that's because of the number of them on the site. It should be considered a very rare when you're trading for it, though, because the worth is a lot higher than you think.

I'm gonna say that would be slightly unfair for the Joker side. Because however 'not very rare' the Joker is, it will always be treated as one, and always be one of the most wanted pets on the site.


Bringing in my fifty cent on the 'Joker debates' that pop up more frequently now;
It is the ultimate dreampet of tons of people - because it looks so 'cool'. Has nothing to do with the actual rarity of the thing.

I've had a few Jokers and I haven't traded away a single one for less than a toxic. I'm totally honest when I say I've always been the one getting the offer, not making it.
A friend of mine got a purple toxic plus extras for a Joker. I've gotten a purple, a green and a yellow toxic for jokers/offers on a joker. I've seen several auctions ending in a win for someone who has offered toxic + extras, even a sorbet in some.

Jokers will always be worth a lot :/ I don't know why everyone is suddenly hellbent on it being worth a common august/less when it obviously most of the time easily goes for more.

It is a little like with that green batdog second gen - it is still dirt common but it looks so cool that people still pay giant sums for it.

I agree with that - it goes for a lot. However, I'll still stick by the idea that statistically it is worth a balloon dog. If we were to say it was worth at least sorbet or toxic, then the price might be pushed up even higher when it really shouldn't be. ^^

Nah, no offence taken :] I can see your point just fine.
I just get a little upset at times when people come from this thread hollering at me for being a greedy bastard for not trading a joker to them for a blue balloon dog. Or when someone trades their dear Joker away for way cheaper than they could get for it ^^;
