Trade rant thread

I just had a trade cancled from like.... August last year.

I was asking for a horse newborn at the time, that just so happened to be a freaking rainbow maned, and NOW they cancle (Like 3 min ago) screaming at the top of their lungs:

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! QUIT ASKING FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!"


Um.... wth?

1. Only time I asked for it
2. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER!!!!
3. For that screaming message, you can go die >.> -notveryhappyrightnow-

I hate people who wait forever and then if after like a year later... ><

I think I'm going to wait here for them to scream at the top of their lungs about the trade. xDD

If I can see that the trade has been ignored, yet the person I'm trading with has been online, I usually cancel the trade after a month. They obviously don't want to trade - but what I don't get is why they don't cancel it themselves?

I've been looking around the CS Trades board recently for Advents I can swap, and I realized another thing that bugs me. I hate when people insist that you post on their trade thread before sending them a trade. Like, (1) That's a waste of my time, and (2) I'd really rather not see your thread in my "View your posts" section every time you bump it. (I know I can use bookmarks, I just find this way easier)

This would be another one to add to the list of "Things I won't do purely out of principle."

Yeah, I do not have the kinda patience to let a trade sit that long. I'll cancel them first, but I try to restrain myself from being snippy 'cause I realize some people are just busy. It is annoying when it's something you really want and you see the person has signed in.

On the upside, my impatient (and slightly OCD) nature also means I deal with my own trades as soon as I get them. XD

I think someone asked for people to Bookmark stuff (Sorren? No idea, can't remember) instead of searching through their last posts since it takes up server something or other.

I don't understand why people don't just Bookmark stuff. It's just spam to post "Bookmarking" and I still think it'd be easier to find it in Bookmarks rather than searching through everything but meh.

I wonder where these people are finding me... I keep getting trades from people yet I barely ever post in trade forums... And they have nothing I want typically.

Well, the bookmark page is a pain to get to and if you forget to bookmark an auction or something...you'd never see it. o_o

I genuinely had no idea bookmarks existed until I asked how to unsubscribe from a topic under "View your posts". There's no link to it unless you go into your control panel. Oh, and someone brought up the server slowing problem but Nick said it was fixed a long time ago, so it's not really an issue.

Anyways...I got nothin. XD Oh wait, it also boggles my mind when (and I've seen this a couple times) people have For wishlist pets only groups but they have no wishlist! DX There we go. Topic.

...How is getting to a Bookmark harder than finding a post out of all your posts? :s

Anyway, we're getting off-topic.

I keep getting trades for my Cerberus' and my White Dragon but people never have anything good for them.
