Trade rant thread

Okay...I -have- to rant about this because I'm more ticked off than I -ever- have been on CS. And I mean ever.

I participated in an auction. The person was auctioning 3 rare rats, one I've always had my eye on. I adore the rat, it's one of the few rats I actually like. (And I don't like all of them. I'm kinda weird, I know, but don't get me wrong, they're all nice, but the ones I fall in love with, those are the ones I seek the most.)

So I made a bid on the rat, an opening bid, and the bid was accepted. I also asked when she was going to end the auction, and she said most likely the 15th.

Well, the 15th came around, and she ended the auction for the rat I bid on. AND, she even sent me a trade to complete the auction. I was thrilled!

BUT...what happened next???? In, literally, One hour and five minutes, she canceled the trade.

Someone from the Newbie Helpers no less, came in, after she POSTED that I had won the auction in the thread itself, bid on all three rats she was auctioning, INCLUDING MINE.

Well, instead of being HONEST about it all, she put the bid down, canceled my trade for the rat, and CONTINUED THE AUCTION! So my bid? Even though I had won? Was lost out. I am so mad!!!!

And...get this. *smirks* The bid that killed my win after it was announced I won, was on all three rats, right? Then she went and put the bid ONLY ON THE RAT I WON!

What the hell ever happened to honesty? This would NEVER fly in any other place. If an auction is won on Ebay, it's a contract, and you get in major trouble for this. If you buy something elsewhere, anywhere else, it's yours. If any auction site had seen this, there would have been heck to pay!

But no, instead, even though she posted that I won the rat, and started the trade to solidify it, I get canceled like a schmuck because she got greedy and basically just lied in the face of everything.

I've filed an abuse on the thread, but absolutely nothing has been done about it.

I'm sorry, but I feel shafted, I feel like I just got ripped. And there's not a damn thing I can do about it.

There's my rant. Sorry all for releasing my anger, but I'm beyond ticked.

This exact thing happened to me. I won an apple auction, and then when I sent my offer, they cancelled and gave it to the second place winner Some people are just horriblely rude. Try not to let it get to you. Things like this happen all the time, your not alone ;3

Baaah D; More like a "WOAH, bugging out now" trade. My friewnd an I will send eachother an extra of an outcome we missed sometimes, and when she tried to accept it we got this funny "If you make multiple accounts you'll be banned" kind of image on top of the "accept trade!" message box. @_@ I don't cheat I sweeear! Now I'm paranoid to send trades to her. 3:

And in other trade ranty news trading for highly wanted pets of the month is a PAAAIN.

Do you ever use the same computer? I get this same problem when I try to trade with my sister. Don't worry about, it doesn't mean anything if it's a real person

That happened to my friend too. I don't think it should be allowed but not much can be done to stop it. -_-

You know what I hate? Sending a trade and waiting a week with still no answer. Usually that results in an angry cancel message from yours truly.

I still have one, that I'm waiting for a reply on. Someone that posts on this thread sometimes, cheated me out of a pet .(When I was newer) I told them I found out the cheated me, so I sent the trade back, just flipped around, and they waited like 5 months, and canceled. They said it wasn't fair for them. T.T

When people take to long to make up their minds, I PM them about it. And keep sending the same message, if they read it, and decide not to reply. I normally wait a day, then re-send it.

I just had a trade cancled from like.... August last year.

I was asking for a horse newborn at the time, that just so happened to be a freaking rainbow maned, and NOW they cancle (Like 3 min ago) screaming at the top of their lungs:

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! QUIT ASKING FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!"
