The art change for this month's horses really surprised me, has that happened before?...
Anyways, I must say that these horses have got to be my favorites yet. My favorite breeds are dappled grays, pintos, and apploosas. To have such beautiful versions of each all in the same litter is amazing I think ^-^ I love them so much, they even became my first CS horse hoard. :3 They're all soooo pretty <3

I do prefer the old linearts though, I suppose. Specially for the pinotloosa, which had more of a pinto-patchy look to me before the change. Now it seems more... Covered? If that makes sense... Two huge patches instead of smaller ones... I'm not quite sure how to explain, but I liked it when there was a little less black... As for the dappled and white pinto, I liked it better before but honestly think it looks even more realistic now. Before its patches were pretty but seemed more unnatural to me, but now there are only two or three. So I love it in a new way now <3

I'm sad people would complain about them, as Sorren Fey said they didn't mean to hurt anyone. But I can understand their reasoning I suppose.

Anywho, enough of my chatter. I wanted to say I love these horses, and still think they're beautiful, running in first on my CS horse list. <3 In spite of the minor changes c;

but if the artist decides to make changes, it's their art and I understand. And it is a little more realistic this way.
(but really, we have pink stripey horses and stuff, so does realistic really matter, lol)

When you're actually attempting to imitate a realistic design, yes, realisticness does matter. When you're just making something pretty, no, it really doesn't.
